Represents the Cardinal Virtues in Perfect Form
Perhaps the best source that portrays this criterion is as follow:
Polycarp 6:1
And the presbyters also must be compassionate, merciful towards all men, turning back the sheep that are gone astray, visiting all the infirm, not neglecting a widow or an orphan or a poor man: but providing always for that which is honorable in the sight of God and of men, , respect of persons, unrighteous judgment, being far from all love of money, , knowing that we all are debtors of sin.
Polycarp 6:2
If then we entreat the Lord that He would forgive us, we also ought to forgive: for we are before the eyes of our Lord and God, and we must all stand at the judgment-seat of Christ, and each man must give an account of himself.
Fortitude: :for we are before the eyes of our Lord and God, and we must all stand at the judgment-seat of Christ, and each man must give an account of himself." – The strength we gain from following previous cardinals and being moral will help us and guide us through difficulties that may come by. Examples of this for the youth could be for exams, first-day nerves and standing up to bullies.

- Prudence: not quick to believe anything against any man, not hasty in judgment" and, "not neglecting a widow or an orphan or a poor man" - this shows we should make the right decision considering all aspects of the idea. We should not make haste in judging others as well, though this is highly common in youth of today; to judge someone’s personality on their looks or speech for example.
- Justice. "respect of persons" and "He would forgive us, we also ought to forgive" – These statements show that we should show respect to others and treat others how we ought to be treated. This is shown iin schools and amongst peers in the youth.
- Temperance: "abstaining from all anger" - This tells us that through anger, problems arise. Avoid quarrelling and detraction (also taught by St Polycarp) should be considered when a disagreement comes to light.
Fortitude: :for we are before the eyes of our Lord and God, and we must all stand at the judgment-seat of Christ, and each man must give an account of himself." – The strength we gain from following previous cardinals and being moral will help us and guide us through difficulties that may come by.
